Dome
what with cam if the panthers make the playoffs with kyle allen at the helm? does he just get his job back at the start of next year? or do the panthers trade him?

Move him for what you can get. Roll with Allen going forward. Cam isn't getting any younger.
MKnight82
Cam feels like a perfect fit for the Bears IMO.

No picks. Check. Mobility to run the RPO. Check. Can play in bad weather. Check. Isn't Mitch Trubisky. Check. But the bears have neither the cap space nor the draft capital to make it happen... without making several major moves Cam is under contract for 2020, not sure why they would release him vs trade him https://overthecap.com/player/cam-newton/1147/

Thelonebillsfan
They shouldn't have played him at all this year to begin with. He clearly needed a full year to allow his body to recover. Man has been beat to hell.

MWil23
This is one of those weird situations where him getting put on the IR is somehow best for everyone. He's not right in terms of health, and they're on a roll with Allen. Cam can rest up and try again next year, probably via free agency. Thelonebillsfan
Also Andy Dalton was a really good QB for a few years who put up some good stats on some stacked Bengals teams Edited November 5, 2019 by Thelonebillsfan

Further shows how the Panthers have failed to support him over the years, they never made a serious effort to protect him up front. I hope he gets somewhere that will support him or make an attempt to put a good OL together to prolong his career and not thrown him to the wolves like the Panthers did. I wouldn't be surprised if they tag him (if he's a FA) and try to get a pick out of him instead of letting him walk Edited November 5, 2019 by MSURacerDT55

iknowcool
This makes me sad. One of the most exciting players I’ve ever watched, even for all his faults as a passer he always gave us a chance to win.
