Crazy though 2 years in a row our d has been suspect. And now this year they’re basically carrying the team. The o sucks. Not Mitch level but they should be way better. The pats destroyed this steelers team with ease. And we couldn’t get a yard without making a blood sacrifice.

Our good luck with the OL in past years has blown up on us. Barring young guys surprising, I don't think we can fix it. That means we can't fix our offense.

And I accept that. But I have yet to see Goff change our protection. Maybe no one does that anymore, but I recall manning doing that a lot.

Yeah, this isn't our guys are getting confused with blitzes. The majority are continuously losing 1 on 1s.

Yep. The only option I see is revamping this offense to a short, quick passing game. But even that has its limitations. We saw that today.

I think I’m order to compensate for our bad OL we need to go with short passes until something long opens up and then take the shot. Problem is that we are used to getting big chunk plays at will for the past two seasons so we may be stubborn in going for short passes

also Goff needs to move in the pocket better. He needs to know when to step side to side and know when to step up in the pocket

We needed to finish the 2nd half of the season at 6-2 to have a shot. Now we need to go 6-1 the rest of the way and hope Seattle loses tonight. Minnesota winning hurts. Feel so bad for this defense.

The McVay hate is rolling in on twitter; people are quick to jump down the Rams throat after instant success 2 years ago. Gotta prove we weren't a flash in the pan, but it's not looking good.

Lost my 6 team parlay with a Rams loss so it hurt triple.

Rams Def TD+Rams Win

Aaron Jones TD+Packers Win

Jack Doyle TD

$20 to win $999.90 and Rams $hit the bed.

Our OL was at the bottom of the league before we lost Allen and Havenstein. You need to rewatch the game and see how bad the protection was.

What ? Our OL is the one the worst of the league ?  Imagine, if someone said that in the offseason, he would be crazy.

I wouldn't get my hopes up on the Oline improving. To make matters worse Les has no first round picks or cap space to improve it next season.

Hey but we got Jalen Ramsey and that my friend is rock solid !

I understand he isn’t a miracle worker but he can’t have games this bad. You’re right, the OL is trash

Half the teams in the league have bad OLs but when you pay someone that much money then he needs to produce.

Otherwise take less money so that the team can put a formidable OL around you.

The great QBs have mediocre games and bad ones. I can take Goff being mediocre or even bad against elite defenses but he hasnt even been bad. He’s been awful

i think he will get better eventually and become elite but it won’t be anytime soon

No you're wrong and i hate people that despise the performance of Goff. You will see but Goff is going to be better next week because i have faith in him.

He will learn his lesson from yesterday and from the last games and he will step up and go havroc against the Bears throwing 5 TD and 500 yards.

He will become elite next week but in fact he's already elite in my heart.

McVay not using Gurley in the 4th quarter was inexcusable. He led us down the field in the third quarter for a scoring drive. Of course, our offense stalled on that drive when McVay pulled him out and Brown caused a penalty. And then McVay didn't use him after that. I was furious.

Don't you dare critize our beloved coach !

Yeah. Goff isn’t ready this season was lost. It’s ok, we paid with blood for last years success. But Goff is straight cheeks and can’t be relied upon to carry the offense. No idea why Mcvay went away from todd running the ball.

This season is not lost, what are you talking about ? We are going perfect for the remaining season and we will win the superbowl.

Oh my, you are too much pessimistic. I want to slap your face.

Our OL, which already sucked, is now down three starters. Our season is done. And what a screwjob today. They didn't just give every major 50/50 call to the Steelers, but the booth aided and abetted them in doing it. Let's go down the list:

1. Goff fumble for a TD - At best a 50/50 call, at worst not a fumble.

2. Washington TD catch - At best a 50/50 call, at worst not a catch.

3. Fumble after the interception - At best a 50/50 call, at worst a fumble.

4. Interception called back for DPI - Not DPI, and knowing these refs, there probably wasn't defensive holding either.

5. Reynolds incompletion on 4th down in the endzone - I would say not DPI if they allowed them to play, but they didn't. They called us for multiple BS ticky tack calls.

Just unbelievable. And I'm not going to get into the petty stuff. Each of those 5 plays could have swung the game our way. #2 and #3 are probably the least significant. What a BS game.

Yes we were infortunate but it's not like we had the whole game to overturn these misfortune.

I don't really understand why we haven't score a TD yesterday, we were playing so good football.

Our luck was not on the right side. We can blame Luck but he's retired.

So much pessimistic, i'm tired to read all the negative stuff. Of course we can fix the OL, we just need to put Jalen Ramsey at RT and it will be just fine.

I'm not going to copy the entire thing, but this is hysterical. Well played, @Flounch The level of pettiness is almost at 100 and I probably would of done the same thing {claps hands}.

Following a SuperBowl appearence, with a top heavy cap strapped team and little draft capital going forward, a QB and O-Line that has regressed, and a hobbled RB with his highest cap hit upcoming next year...I'd say we have the right level of pessimism/optimism going forward.

The team will battle week to week, I think we will see glimpses again of the O being dominant, but too little too late in the NFC playoff picture. 4 Losses at Week 10 is not going to cut it and leaves the margin for error razor thin. I expect 9-7 or 10-6; and that likely won't get us the 6th seed. SuperBowl Hangover=confirmed.

@BStanRamFan where are your doing your parlays from my guy?

This loss doesn’t even hurt anymore. Once you’ve accepted the fate! It’s all happy trails from here BROTHERS

I originally started with DK sportsbook because the actual app worked better, but just switched to Fanduel Sportsbook because they allow for more player prop parlays and same game parlays. Located in NJ so it's all legal and keeps the amount I'm betting in check lol the bookie days with lines of credit used to get crazy.

I’ve been using Bovada but man it’s so shady. Plus they call you from random numbers and it’s just so sketchy and they charge you from a hardware store so!!!!! Looking for a new place lol.

Ok so I didnt say this but Im not shocked the Rams are (5-4). My friend and I have regular conversations and when the Rams lost to the Niners to drop to (3-3) I told my friend the next 3 games the Rams could be sitting at (6-3) but even at (5-4) because I was looking at the Falcons game and thought the Falcons team that showed up and beat the Saints would show up and play well enough to beat the Rams. So I told my friend Im embracing for a 4th straight Rams loss but even if the Rams didnt lose to the Falcons the Steelers game scares me just because its in Pittsburgh and they are a well coached team. So either way I wasnt going to be surprised if the Rams were (5-4) on their road trip. So the panic button is still not going to be pressed by me because at the end of the day we know what this Rams team is capable of. We know they can beat anyone because they have the talent to do so and at the end of the day, the Rams didnt lose any ground on Sunday. They are still 7th and 1.5 game out of the 6th seed with 7 games to go. In McVay I trust.

With all that being said, the frustrating part of Sunday was Gurley not touching the ball in the 4th Quarter. He was going in the 3rd Quarter and the Rams offense started to find some rhythm and I was under the impression that yes Gurley would be managed but when crunch time comes and we need him McVay will ride him until the game is over to try to win. He cant save him for the playoffs if the Rams dont make it. So I was frustrated with that. Outside of that, if you told me Kupp wouldnt catch a pass, Cooks didnt play, and Gurley didnt touch the ball in the 4th Quarter on the road against a well coached team in the Steelers and yet the Rams would have two chances to win the game I would take that just because all those things wont happen again. If you think Kupp will be held without a statistic for the entire game he played, Cooks wont play, and Gurley wont touch the ball in the 4th Quarter for the entire game he played again then you are delusional. The Rams will look back at this game in a similar way Im sure the Saints will look back at the Falcons game on Sunday and just think we blew it. Penalties, costly turnovers (although I think the Rams got robbed because if Goff fumbled on a similar situation Rudolph didnt fumble then the refs need to be held accountable for being inconsistent). That fumble won the game for the Steelers just because if Fitzpatrick doesnt score the way the game was going Rams win because the Steelers only scored 10pts on offense. Also take into account Zeurlein missed a 56yd FG. So yeah like what could go wrong did go wrong in that game. Each of McVay years with the Rams we've had a road game like this. Last season it was at Chicago where we did a nice job against Trubisky but the offense couldnt do a thing. In 2017 that game was at Minnesota. In all three games, the Rams jumped out to a 7-0 lead and couldnt do anything after that. But I trust McVay to bounce back at home. Last season we didnt against the Eagles in terms of winning but we scored 23pts with Goff having a few shots at the endzone to try to tie it up. In 2017 we scored 26pts at home and beat a Saints team who came into that game on an 8 game winning streak. So following this terrible offensive performance on the road I think against Chicago the Rams will correct their penalties errors, Kupp is going to bounce back, the Rams are going to score 20+ points and win against a Bears team that are struggling and barely beat a Driskel led Lions team at home. As a matter of fact I told my friend last night to book it. Rams will win the next 3 games (Bears, Ravens, at Cards). Yes I know that means beating the Ravens but the Ravens showed they can be beat because they lost to a dysfunctional Browns team at home by over 2 tds. This stretch coming up will show everyone the heart of the reigning NFC champs and why McVay is one of the best coaches in the NFL because 3 of the next 4 games are at home against quality teams and this stretch will basically decide the Rams season. Last year the Eagles was tested and they won 5 out of their last 6 games with the help of Vikings losing for them to sneak into the playoffs as the 6th seed. This season the Rams are going to have to do the same to sneak into the playoffs as the 6th seed. I dont trust Cousins down the stretch just like last season when he choked. So the Vikings will help the Rams out and all the Rams have to do is take care of their own business and they will get in. So this is where literally the rubber meets the road and I trust this team and I trust this coach to get it down. Jump off the bandwagon if you will be you arent going to get back on if the Rams get on a roll and make another playoff push this season. I wont allow it lol.
