Uh-oh.....

Quote

Multiple reporters at Thursday’s practice have shared that quarterback Lamar Jackson was not on the field with the rest of the team during the open portion of the session. Robert Griffin III got the majority of the work with the first-team offense in Jackson’s absence.

There’s no word from the team on why Jackson was missing, but Jeff Zrebiec of TheAthletic.com reports that he’s dealing with an illness. Jackson wasn’t on Wednesday’s injury report at all and Thursday’s report will shed some light on Jackson’s status before head coach John Harbaugh’s next scheduled meeting with the media until Friday.

Hopefully he wasn’t kissing up on HS girls like Sam Darnold...

But for-real though this shouldn’t be a problem. It just sucks that the moment our receivers in Andrews and Hollywood get back healthy enough to get valuable practice reps in that could pay dividends late in the season... Jackson gets sick.

Marquise immediately proving himself to be an incredible weapon- has made his injury woes that much more difficult to deal with. If we're being honest, his play style is incredibly similar to his cousins' and he's packing 99th% speed on top of it. The natural hands, the concentration, the after catch ability, and his routes have clearly been influenced by his training with AB too. He's a threat on every play and still, we've only seen him at 60% to 70%. Which again, makes every new whisper of an injury that much more depressing. I hope he can play on Sunday and start putting all of this behind him.

Classic trap game. This one terrifies me - especially with a QB you have no film on and the Raven Killer of all Ravens Killers potentially coming back for his first game.

Pretty sure rookie QBs have not been an issue for the Ravens under Harbs, regardless of lack of film.

Because Marshal has "teh powerz" and will go down as one of the greatest at his position. I hope this game is short and sweet with a Ravens win. This ain't a trap nothing and should be a as-whoopin' for the Bengals. We need to go 7-2 and put a stranglehold on the division while letting the Steelers know ain't no comeback kids in here.

Let's go!

Some of our play calling makes me wonder. Lamar running on 2nd and 1? Is it really worth risking him in this game? Just hand it off to Ingram. Happy with the TD though.

Ingram wasn't even in on that play call either lol it was super obvious what was gonna happen.

OH well opening drive TD and we made it look easy.
