I would hope Dave wouldn't pass on a guy because he's worried about his DC not letting him do his thing. Simmons is elite and one of a kind. Caldwell will have him be a WLB and you dont take those top 10 regardless of how good they are tho simmons is more of Modern LB so he should go like 15 or so. It's just not as valuable a position, and more than that even...it has a tendency to be a slower/later developing position. Where top NTs often seem to come into their own after a while in a Pro system, where the early stars often seem to fade. I wouldn't be too excited about Brown that high in the draft. Even if he's an absolute stud NT with some 3T versatility...it's kinda uninspiring. I just see a guy with some really impressive athletic traits, but far too often on the wrong side of blocks in college if he's going to be that massive defensive NT anchor. Like...there's obviously potential there, but is he going to be Fletcher Cox? I don't necessarily see it. The tools are there, but i don't see the same awareness and savvy.
