BEAR FACE DOWN ARROW
Great analysis. The word that jumps out to me is "isolate", as in how difficult is has to be for Nagy to isolate the problems to begin repair when such fundamental pieces of the machine are missing/broken. Dumb QB+underperforming OL+inneffective TE+actual gameplay not resembling plan one bit.. Imagine for a second it's just Mitch not being able to read the d and everything else was fine, I imagine that came be schemed around and hopefully QB brough up to speed... but when there's no blocking to run and no blocking to pass, how do you expect to be able to focus on the QB play? As bad as QB is, and as much as I'd love to get a shiny new one next year, I don't know how you can leave the OL, TE positions off the top of your fix-it list next offseason

Pace did not allow for a pure evaluation of the QB because his TE position and OL have been such major busts. Yesterday the line protected well and 10 shredded the Lions. He even made some throws while being hit.
topwop1
Mitch deserves his fair share of criticism and doubt looking at his body of work this season but IMO the play of the OL and TE positions has been far worse. If these were just slightly better I think this team is sitting at 5-4 or even 6-3 right now. The encouraging thing is that it seems like they are fully aware of the offensive problems and are trying to improve the situation by changing up personnel, base formations, etc.
