My grandpa was a big Neil Diamond and Buddy Holly fan so I know just about everything they do and enjoy it. Dad was a teen of the 80s so I also grew up on Journey, Van Halen, Motley Crue, Rush, ACDC, Metallica, Styx, REO, etc and still jam their songs regularly. Just can't stand the Beatles. Even their "one" hit song...when it comes on, I turn the station. As far as bad singers....I want to name one singer and one song. Eddie Veder, Yellow Ledbedder. WFT? ...and now that I typed it, why can't I get it out of my brain? I keep singing it in my head despite only really knowing 2-3 words in that entire thing. "porch, letter, sat". Waking the Fallen was legit a great album. Since then, Avenged has had okay songs, some terrible songs, maybe one great one. I liked Hail to the King and Acid Rain a lot. Then they released The Stage and to me got back on the level of Waking the Fallen. I've listened to them their whole career hoping they'd get back to as good as they were on Waking the Fallen.
