Yeah, I think he's been mentally suspect for a while now. Hope he ends can get some mental health help. Based on his previous exploits, this likely won't end well for someone.

Being a returner will help his case. Ray Ray perpetually scares the hell out of me back there

When he is back there, you know something is going to happen.  If he didn't fumble he would be great.  He is good at fielding punts, but he fumbles as a ball carrier.

At this point, I think it might be better just to catch the ball and be safe on punt returns.  It seems there are fewer return yards around the league each year.

I'm getting geared up for football and was looking at milestones for current Niners:

George Kittle

  • Needs 5 catches for 400 career catches and needs 47 catches to pass Vernon Davis for 5th all-time
  • Needs 746 yards for 6,000 career yards and to pass Billy Wilson for 5th all-time
  • Needs 3 TDs to pass Brent Jones for 10th all-time receiving TDs
  • Needs 12 TDs to crack the top 15 all-time total TDs
  • Kittle's next Pro Bowl nomination will put him 6th all-time with 5
  • Needs 65 points scored (about 11 TDs) to crack the top 25 all-time points scorers

Nick Bosa

  • Needs 19 sacks to pass Dwaine Board for 5th all-time
  • Needs 20 TFLs to pass Justin Smith for 3rd all-time

Other interesting milestones

  • Trent Williams and Fred Warner's next All-Pro nomination will put them 5th all-time in the franchise with 3 a piece
  • Deebo needs 2 TDs to crack the top 25 all-time TD scoring list and with a 10 TD season, he'd be 1 TD behind Steve Young for 16th all-time with 36 TDs
  • Mitch Wishnowsky needs 12 Punts inside the 20 to pass Bradley Pinion for 2nd all-time

I think Bosa can hit both of those marks this season assuming he stays healthy.

I think adding Hargrave is going to benefit Bosa and I expect both of them to have double digit sacks this season with Bosa hitting 20.

Bosa has had at least 20 TFLs in each of the past two seasons. That's very doable for him.

And yes, assuming both he and Hargrave play a full season, Bosa should be in line to collect his second DPoY award.

Feels so disrespectful to see Trent at 14. I know he's not playing a super flashy position but he's easily a top 3 player in the league.

The only one that is truly egregious is Josh jacobs. He was never going to be higher than the elite QBs, and the position players ahead of him (besides Jacobs) all have legit cases. Adams is certainly elite with a long track record and Aaron Donald is Aaron Donald.

The remaining guys should be the QBs (Burrow, Hurts, Allen, Mahomes) who he was never going to be higher than. Justin Jefferson, who is having the greatest start to his career in receiver history. Travis Kelce, who probably holds the belt forr biggest difference between the best and second best player at his position across the league. Bosa, who just won DPOY and Chris Jones who was maybe the most destructive force in football last year. Hill is fairly reasonable given his season last year and history,  and everyone loves Micah Parsons (I feel he's a little overrated, and I'm sure he'll be the highest rated edge rusher on the list, but obviously he's had a great start to his career as well)

Trent should have easily been a top 10 player going on three seasons now at least.

It's positional basis imo.
