The Myles Garrett incident

He shouldn't get any punishment. If anything, Rudolph is the one who should be suspended for instigating it by hitting Garrett in the groin (a total beta move) and trying to take Garrett's helmet off.

I hope Ben retires and Rudolph is the starter next season so Cleveland's defensive line can fimish the job.

I understand and do agree with what you're saying.  Although on a side note, I have been in altercations (while sober of course) and could not recall at all what really happened.  Even not believing what witnesses to it said happened.  Sometimes things happen so fast its hard to remember what exactly happened.

He definitely choose to go stomp stomp stomp.

It is always going to be less than we think.  I think 3 games at best but probably 2. After Gronk did a WWE elbow smash on a down player with the intent to injure and got 1 game I have to think the NFL will not do anything.  1 game for Pouncey. 2 for Garrett.  Finger wagging fines for all others.

And Brady got 4 for allegedly deflating a football. Swing a helmet at someone's bare head? It's all good...3 games.

It should be longer.

CBA covers one but not the other.  As someone posted, if Garrett had killed Rudolph he could only get 6 games according to the CBA.

But Media attention... There is nothing NFL to talk about for 3 days

They all should be suspended except DeCastro

Garrett should get four games, but the narrative that this was criminal assault was laughable. It certainly wasn’t premeditated. Three guys holding him with Rudolph charging isn’t a fair fight. Garrett would argue self defense. If this was out in the street, Garrett would get NOTHING. Anyone who says he would is acting like this was a one on one confrontation.

Pouncey should get four games too.. A few punches and a kick to the head. All while DeCastro held him. That’s assault in the real world. Ask Levi Jones how that worked out in the casino parking lot when Joey Porter and six of his friends attacked him.

The third guy in the scrum should get a game too.

Mason Rudolph instigated it. He gets the same four games as Pouncey and Garrett. That’s actually justice in this scenario.

Number 65 for the Browns gets a game too. He nailed Rudolph too, as everyone was trying to break up the scrum (in the background).

DeCastr is the only one involved trying to keep the peace, unless I missed something

Crazy how even in a win Brown’s draw negative attention to themselves. Beyond the fight as well, throughout the game. Not sure how much longer Freddie’s going to be ring leader of that circus.

Post game comments he again asserted that his team doesn't have a discipline issue.

I think the nfl should make Rudolph and Garrett sit in a room and stare at each other until they apologize to each other

My parents used to make us siblings hug each other for the duration of our timeout. That's what those two deserve

Why are you so fascinated by what players would say to each other's faces? And what, exactly, would you be willing to say to 6'5" 235 lbs. Mason Rudolph's face?

He's about my size, sure.

But I was just referencing a fairly obscure English comedy sketch.
