Blessuan Austin

We got some good depth guys at CB. We just need starters. He may develop and become it. He jumped in late in the season and didn't get the same opportunities to learn like the others did in camps and preseason. I'm looking forward to seeing what he can do next offseason.

Future is still bright for Austin if he can stay healthy. Gregg has been quick to pull the young CBs as the season has wound down. Overall, our pass defense has improved significantly with him in the lineup

He definitely has earned a spot, which saves us from needing multiple CBs in the offseason. If we can resign Poole and get another CB in FA or the draft we are set in the secondary.

He had a bad game but I still think he can be pencilled in as one of the starting outside corners. JD and the coaching staff have done a great this year with our cornerback depth. We’re good 2-6 with Austin, Poole, Maulet, Canady, and Hairston. Our D just needs a starting edge and a starting outside corner and we’re set. The depth looks good as well.

Notice he didn’t play yesterday with no injury after an awful game last week?

Interesting

Williams has apparently had a quick trigger on pulling young CBs. Hopefully he can bounce back next year, showed so good potential
