Surprising considering he's from the Andy Reid tree

It's almost like he deliberately calls the wrong the play at times and that's without even talking about his other decisions like declining the running into the kicker penalty.

Do the Bears actually think they will win football games by approaching them this way? Or do the coaches just think the situation is futile and they won't win no matter what?

No, that's technique stuff in the heat of the play that can be a very major gray area, and is sometimes a judgment call.

It's definitely the letter of the law, yes.  I guess I should be happy they managed something right.  It sure isn't the spirit though.  It's pedantic.

Good thing the Rams got in the end zone. Watching the Bear offense have to drive with the possibility of winning the game would have just been sad.

Watch daniels pull this off.

Nagy: You are bad.  We're putting in Chase because you are bad.  He is also bad, but you are worse.  Chin up.

Sliding instead of going OOB while down 2 scores with 3 minutes left... let's not lose sight of how egregious that was with the QB changes noise.

No, a LOT of what you mentioned can involve judgment calls.

And a legal formation is totally within the spirit of the rules. I don't know how else to explain it.

Chicago is hopeless. Nutty how a talented team can hit rock bottom because they can't find a QB, or a lackluster team can be turned into a playoff contender because they found a QB.

I guess I should be happy that they get relatively minor things correct while blowing games for teams with other common sense rulings.  Yes, I will be happy for that.
