Anyways, he's a SS X Factor now. Haha that's awesome. What's his overall rating?

MKnight82
TRADE DEADLINE UPDATE - YEAR 15 I'm a very respectable 5-2 at the deadline, with a 2 game lead in the division. I don't see any reason to rock the boat with trades at the deadline so I'll stay the course this year.

MKnight82
CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS DT Derek Tripp (91) - no offer (for now) - He's 34, so his OVR should drop considerably in the offseason. I'm thinking I can get him cheaper in the offseason than now (he's asking for $17 mil on a 1 year deal). CB Quentin Banks (90) - 5 year deal, $8.8 mil salary, $6.15 SB, $11.0 Y1 cap hit - $74.5 mil Total Contract - This is a lot of money, but he's 25 years old and is the 6th highest rated CB in the league. LT Blake Linsley (87) - 5 year deal, $8.9 mil salary, $5.45 SB, $71.5 Y1 cap hit - $71.5 mil Total Contract - Another big contract, but I knew these were coming. Linsley is great, he also is just 25 and is the #4 rated LT in the league. Both Linsley and Banks are extremely well rounded players because I initially slowed their OVR grow by spreading out their levels. TE Connor Price (85) - 5 year deal, $5.5 mil salary, $2.80 SB, $5.81 Y1 cap hit - $41.3 mil Total Contract - Price is only 24 and a good starting TE (he's #9 OVR in the league at his position). This seems like a fairly reasonable price for his talent level. LE Heath Harmon (84) - 6 year deal, $11.3 mil salary, $5.26 SB, $11.6 Y1 cap hit - $99.1 mil Total Contract - This is a leap of faith. This is a MASSIVE deal for a guy that's just 84 OVR and just Star Dev. However, he's only 24 years old and has been my most consistent pass rusher. Remember, DT Derek Tripp started off as a Star dev too. HB Mike Howard (83) - no offer - He's aging and regressing. He wants a $30 mil extension. I can just draft a backup RB. HB Tony Flynn (62) - no offer - he was just roster filler. RE Ace Walton (81) - 2 year deal, $6.2 mil salary, $3.70 SB, $9.05 Y1 cap hit - $19.7 mil Total Contract REJECTED - I offered Walton this, which seems fair to me, but he rejected it. He's 29 and has already started regressing. I really don't want to risk losing Harmon and Walton in 1 offseason, but I could use this $9 towards tagging Harmon. OC Kyle Carroll (77) - no offer - He wants a $7.5+ mil per year deal and I have like 4 other guys on the roster that can take his spot. He's only 25 but has normal dev. Plus Oline is easily replaceable. WR Cornell Graves (78) - 3 year deal, $5.5 mil salary, $2.70 SB, $6.8 Y1 cap hit - $24.5 mil Total Contract - He's developed into a solid WR. He's 25, and gained the Star dev trait. This isn't a ton of money and doesn't lock me in past 3 years. SS Dallas Stewart (77) - no offer - He's a great backup, but he wants $20+ mil and I can find a backup safety for a lot cheaper. Hopefully he'll get a chance to start somewhere. 24 years old, normal dev. LOLB Tory Mobley (75) - 4 year deal, $2.0 mil salary, $400k SB, $1.66 Y1 cap hit - $9.4 mil Total Contract - Mobley is a good backup, a well rounded linebacker and only 25 years old. This is a very reasonable contract. QB Rodd Thomson (69) - no offer - he isn't that great.
