It looked very minor live so I understand why he held off. Probably wouldn’t have overturned the ruling. I hate the PI rule regardless, I’d always prefer to lean on the side of letting them play than putting those plays in the hands of refs. It was a turnover so it was automatically reviewed. Can’t challenge those.
byuvike88
Wasn't Stephen brought in to help sure up the run game? What does he offer this team? He provides no pass rush and if teams run like this what is the benefit to having him?

Man the memes and gifs and people crushing him would be relentless I remember thinking the same when Wilson failed twice in overtime against the 49ers
byuvike88
Griffen also put up a goose egg on the stat sheet. That play on 3rd and 1 where he got handled by Hollister can't happen
SemperFeist
This. 1000x this. And it’s why many aren’t convinced that Zimmer should stay. Edited December 3, 2019 by SemperFeist
SemperFeist
If you want your QB to make plays in these situations, you’ve got to give him a chance to make a play. Horrific play call in this situation.
byuvike88
Haha man, Seattle had the ball for 40 minutes this game...40 Minutes!! And we lost by 7 (basically 4)

They have been solid all year, but tonight they got absolutely dominated up front. Are you referring to run offense or run defense? If it's run offense, then there were already multiple games earlier this year when the run offense was largely ineffective - against Bears, Eagles, Chiefs, Broncos
wcblack34
Our D-line got dominated in the run game. Linval is probably a rotational guy at this point of his career. There’s no depth behind him. I think the game looks different if Thielen plays. However, I don’t know if the result changes. Diggs was not good tonight.

They gave up 16 first downs on the ground and 218 yards with the long of 29. It was just being pushed around for 4 or 5 yards a pop. Let Seattle totally control the clock and the game.

SemperFeist
Rhodes needs to be benched against Detroit. I’d even make him a healthy scratch. Even if there isn’t someone better to take his place, Zimmer needs to send a message to his CB.

But he had a chance for an MVP moment and he went down throwing to Treadwell and Smith. He was throwing to who he had available. No issues with the way 8 played tonight.
