Is Mariota done as a starter?

It seems evident his time in Tennessee is at an end. As a former 2nd overall pick, he was a solid game manager for two years before becoming bad for three.

Will anyone sign him to be a starter this offseason? Sign him to compete? Or just a career backup?

The guy was never good.

He lacked pocket presence to play in the league.

He constantly moved into sacks or held the ball too long.

He even had a good line and couldn't get it done with them.

No. He'll get another shot. He's a more athletic Alex Smith imo. Could have a bit of a career resurgence on the right team with the right coach.

Give him a good line with a dominate 1, sure.

His problem has been the sacks though. He takes too many.

He's opposite of our guy -- Jared Goff.

His pressure per sack rate is bad, while someone like Goff has an unreal one (220+ pressures but only 18 sacks taken).
