Dome
What a disaster of a regular season as far as injuries are concerned. I may bump the injury sliders down a bit, that seems excessive. But we're 0-0 now and none of the injuries matter. We have to win with who we still have. Everything else about the year was great! We made the playoffs, got our QBotF and our rookie playmaker made some plays. Defense might need some retooling, still in no-mans-land between a 3-4 and a 4-3, but we held our own. Dome
MJD tied Barry Sanders 1997 for 4th most rushing yards on a season with 2,063. He also had 20 TDs and won the MVP Award and the OPOY Award. Dolphins pass-rusher Cameron Wake won DPOY with 17 sacks, 3 FFs and 105 tackles from the OLB position. Cardinals Rookie QB D. Patrick wins OROY! 2,080 yards and 14:4 ratio, averaging 200 yards per game and 6.5 YPA. He played in 10 games his rookie season. Bills NT Darren Oliver won DPOY with 4 sacks, 1 INT and 1 FF. Cards 1st year HC Jack Looman finished behind J Harbaugh (49ers) for best coach in the NFC.
Dome
Wildcard Round - Cardinals @ Bears Bear win 24-21 Too many injuries to overcome, but we have a lot of things to be proud of this year. Rookie QB D Patrick only completed 58% of his passes on way to 237 yards and 2 scores, and it wasn't good enough. R Williams was running the ball well at 4.2 yards per carry, but a refusal to move away from the RBBC hurt the team when Howlings only averaged 2.1 YPC on similar touches. With Andre Roberts and Rob Housler as our top two targets at WR, things were already bleak. Nobody stood out as a receiver. Desmond Bishop and Daryl Washington were healthy again, combining for 17 tackles, 2 TFLs, a sack and a fumble recovery. SS Rhodes managed 2 TFLs while FS Rahim Moore got a sack in a losing effort. An O'Brien Schofield forced fumble was the teams only takeaway. Neither Ted Ginn nor LSH was able to break a big return this week. That could've been the difference in this one. Dome
Offseason Cards hire Injury Specialists Injury B-Gone to train with the MLBs. (+1 INJ to MLBs) Cardinals announce Fee Free ATMs in their stadium, no fees to access cash when you're at the game. Cardinals announce an $8m Advanced Medical Facility renovation, meant to increase player recovery speed. The Cardinals sign a sponsorship with Extra Strength Movers for $20m over the next 3 years. The company expects a Super Bowl appearance in that time... It's a tall order, but we're pretty much all in on a 'chip in that timeframe anyways. Dome
Made some cuts... this is my roster going into the FA period before the draft.... Looking lean and mean... I'll be targeting a high end LT and high end pass rusher, I think I can compete for a ring with that. We're all in for the next 3 or so seasons while Fitz is around, otherwise this was all for nothing. Dome
Roster heading into the draft... I'm going to be looking for a pass rusher in the individual workouts before the draft. I've identified some quality OL already, I hope to snag one. I've found a 99 spd WR looks like last years rookie, he's got a 3rd round grade, I hope he falls. I've also found a RB with a 5th round grade that looks like a high-end receiving weapon. However I just signed CJ Spiller to that role. We'll see who else is available. Dome
WHAT?!?! There was NO DRAFT! I clicked advance to draft, and it skipped it... Nobody got to draft anyone. I HATE MADDEN.
Dome
It just assigned everyone as rookie UDFAs with no draft. It didn't simulate the draft, it skipped it. Then at the start of camp all the rookies were randomized as UDFAs. The Colts ended up with Shead, the RE I wanted... Such horse ****.
