The two shouldnt be butting heads at all. True, but it’s RM’s defense that KR calls the plays for.

Rod was a tampa 2 coach. We havent run tampa 2 for years (even before Richard). We run Pete Carrols defense. We just suck at it.
Runaway Jim
I wouldn’t pull the trigger until after the Eagles game, but there’s not a single coach on this staff that I would want to keep barring a trip to the NFC championship game. HDsportsfan
So....I'm listening to the two post game Dallas radio shows. Some talk that by JJ doing what he did last week may have backfired and that the players look at it like why play for the guy if he's going to be fired. Conversely other comments such as the players still need to go and play and execute. Buffalo had an early noon game and there coaches could start game planning Sunday night. We had to fly home and not get into Dallas until 1 AM. No excuses though. And they just looked tired and got outplayed more and more as the game went on. Brian B doesn't think JJ will make a move at this time.
Matts4313
If we lose to the Bears or Eagles (since its not happening this week), thus ending our season, the following should be fired at some point: Garrett (immediately) End of season: Colombo and all the OL assistants (there is like 4 of them) Nussmier (TEs) Richard Bloom (LB coach) Rod will retire, he was already thinking about it. Jackson (safeties) The *entire* special teams staff I would keep: Sanjay (WR coach) Kellen Moore (though he probably stops calling plays if we get Riley) Jon Kitna Gary Brown (RBs) DL assistants Strength and Conditioning team ^^^obvi give the new coach control, but that would be me^^^^

HDsportsfan
Lets not forget the last drive of the 2nd quarter JG didn't call TO with a minute left after a Dak sack around mid-field. We lost like 20 seconds of the clock and still went into the half with a TO to spare. You'd think someone on the sideline would figure out how to manage the clock. He has been terrible at clock management for 10 years. Why start trying to get it right now?

No coach walks away from the best team in football. You are a fool if you think otherwise, especially coming off his 2nd championship in a row. There is a quote where Jerry said any coach could win a SB with that Cowboys team, with the insinuation that it was his team and Jimmy was just along for the ride. Uncle Buck
What I don't understand is how Jerruh got rid of Jimmy Jones (or at the very least he let him get away) after he built that team and won two Super Bowls, but can't see the error in keeping a guy around who is far inferior to Jimmy. Where is the logic? You guys have too much talent to be a .500 team at this point in the season.
