The defensive front voting is a little tough because we switched schemes when Shanahan took over.  I'm going to break it up into EDGE, DL, & LBers.  If anyone has a better suggestion for this let me know, or if anyone disagrees with where I've put players let me know that too.

A few Rules:

- You are to only take into consideration that player's contributions to the Redskins.  For instance, Adrian Peterson has had a HOF career, but hasn't had that kind of impact for the Redskins.

- The players must have been acquired after the Snyder era began.  So someone like Darrel Green does not qualify.

- Let's stay away from current rookies as they haven't even finished a single season yet.

Orakpo. Undervalued in a Redskins uniform from 2010-2014.

Yeah, smart guy too. He and Griffin had a plan their post pro football career and it seems to be working out well.

I picked other, cause I think Lavar Arrington was probably the best Edge rusher the Skins had but Gregg Williams hated his freelancing.

Very true. Lavar played well when coached by Marty & Marvin and mostly as a pass rusher and run stuffer.

Ryan Kerrigan has like 4x the career sacks that Arrington did.

Which is why he is the pick. His production alone and the impact he has had on quite a few games cannot be ignored.

Umm... How can you not understand that @mike23md is saying that Arrington wasn't used in the right way by his coaches except when Marty and Marvin were here.

Gregg tried to make an attacking LB into a read and react LB/coverage LB.

I first fell in love with the idea of the Redskins switching to the 3-4 D when they signed Joe Salavea & Marcus Washington.

A 3-4 front of:

RDE: Phillip Daniels

NT: Joe Salavea

LDE: Cornelius Griffin

ROLB: Arrington

RILB: Pierce

WILB: Lemar Marshall

LOLB: Marcus Washington

That front 7 would have been sick!
