MKnight82 4,977 Posted December 2 (edited) The defensive front voting is a little tough because we switched schemes when Shanahan took over. I'm going to break it up into EDGE, DL, & LBers. If anyone has a better suggestion for this let me know, or if anyone disagrees with where I've put players let me know that too. A few Rules: - You are to only take into consideration that player's contributions to the Redskins. For instance, Adrian Peterson has had a HOF career, but hasn't had that kind of impact for the Redskins. - The players must have been acquired after the Snyder era began. So someone like Darrel Green does not qualify. - Let's stay away from current rookies as they haven't even finished a single season yet. turtle28 2,204 Posted December 2 This is a tough one, I want to pick the young guys but I few Barry Cofield deserves this and he was a part of the 2012 team.
mike23md 924 Posted December 2 Matt Ionaidis is our poor man J.J. Watt.
offbyone 131 Posted December 2 I like that you have unsung hero Golston on this list, but his lack of talent would never allow him to be an option. No Phillip Daniels?

lavar703 3,898 Posted December 3 I went with Ion Man but I’m shocked Cornelius Griffin hasn’t got a vote. He was pretty damn good for us.

So, you didn't pick Griffin and you're calling out others for not picking him? Interesting...

Honestly, even I didn't think it looked right the way I said it but I couldn't think how else to say it. I guess I could have said ”odd that you're pointing it out when you didn't vote for him.”

It's true that Cornelius Griffin was always underappreciated in DC, same with Cofield and that's why I chose Cofield.
