  1. 1. Should the Seahawks move to the CFL?

    • Yes, be gone with them already.
    • No, I want see the Seahawks get beat down in the NFC West for years to come.
    • No, because then poor RudyZ might be stuck with them.
    • No, because I am a proud toothless member of the 12th Man which you all know means I became a fan in 2012. It's also the last year I took a shower, because my hygiene is lacking.

Dude that was so ridiculous. Did the Jets owner promise Gase that he could keep his job if he landed them Lawrence? If I was the Jets owner I would have had that entire coaching staff escorted out of the stadium and confiscated their badges.

I didn't realize Travis kelce was so close to the league lead in receiving yards. Rooting for him to do it. Think it would be cool for a tight end to lead the league in receiving yards. Never been done. He could also hit 1500 yards which is just crazy insane for a tight end

I know we don't know too much about the happenings in our FO's usually, but word has it the Jaguars have Mayhew on their GM list of candidates/are interested. I've heard great things about him in SF but was curious if you all had any overall thoughts?

So I can only say what I've head in articles and the like, and my understanding is that he's still very well regarded and it's not surprising that he's getting potential looks as a GM this year (he interviewed for the Texans last year). Unfortunately, I don't that you'll get much in the way of any of us knowing what he has actually done; but from everything I understand, he's certainly in an important role with pivotal input, but I can't give you any exact examples of what he is done or what he is responsible for during his tenure.

He and Adam Peters have been vital to Lynch's success here. I think Peters is the better hire because of his eye for talent but I think Meyhew has redeemed himself from the stench that was on his name from his time in Detroit.

Funny thing is his drafting/team building didn't even look bad in Detroit. Brought them Stafford, Suh, etc. Was a little more hit/miss after the early rounds but what GM isnt? Feels like everyone who goes to Detroit is destined for failure lol.

He drafted Laken Tomlinson in Detroit as well and he's probably our second best O-Lineman outside of Trent Williams. That was a good late round pick spent to bring him over.

Sources are saying the Eagles will keep Wentz. I think if Hurts balls out for these final games, they may revisit that, but otherwise, I'm not too shocked. I think Pederson will be gone and they'll try and salvage him with a new coach. I don't think it will work in Philly because of the financial mess that team is in, but I like the chances slightly better than if they brought Pederson back. They are honestly making the wrong call though in my opinion. I really wanted them to be bold and move off him, set fire to 2021 and do a hard reset for 2022. I love bold moves like that.

Feels like an attempt to build trade value

If they're starting over, they may as well start fresh at GM/HC/QB

They aren't going to can Howie though. I feel like the writing is on the wall for Pederson, but I'd be surprised if Howie is out the door. If they canned both, I'd agree with you.

Honestly, I don’t see any way that someone would trade for Wentz’s contract with how he has been playing. I understand trying to salvage him, but not at the number he’s locked into.

His contract is great if you think that you can turn him around. It's like 25 and 22. He's cheaper than Jimmy. But yeah, you have to really, really believe that the situation holds a lot of the blame, which isn't completely unrealistic, but it's also asking a lot. I think he'd have interest on the trade market; possibly a decent amount. The biggest sticking point would be the 15 million that guarantees for 2022 because a lot of times when you acquire a player like Wentz, you don't want to be forced to commit to them for more than the first year in case they really do suck lol.

But any team acquiring his contract is fine because a ton of his money has already been paid. It's 25, 22, 25, 26 salaries isn't awful. But he needs to be at least competent...which this year he has not been.
