I'm not sure why they don't franchise or transition tag him at the very least. Only projected to be about 17 million on the franchise tag, 14-15 on the transition tag. But obviously they have been in no hurry to re-sign him.

It’s funny, I mentioned when we were at 12 that we should consider taking him and kicking him back to DE. He is explosive.
