Scoremore
Hey Gutey found a returner. Shored up one glaring hole. Guy takes it up the field. Ervin looked good today.

At the moment we're currently running "pray like hell our elite line can protect our chicken **** QB long enough that our mediocre receiving corps can get so open that he can't justify taking a sack" Well what the hell can we do then? Are we just going to suck as long as Rodgers and Lafleur are here and not expect things to get any better on offense?

There’s a reason Rodger’s stats are good and why he’s a State Farm ad rep - he’s too damn risk averse. Our coaching is OK, we don’t have a dominant O or D line, and we don’t turn the ball over - you are correct. In essence, we’re a good not great team. If Rodgers loosened up more, and if we had some more talent at key positions (WR, D-line, ILB) we’d move into that great tier. Loosened up more- are you asking Rogers to expand his risk appetite, throw some more picks in order to get potentially better offense? I always felt that’s what made Rogers elite he never throws the game away.

He's paid, he is the way it is, get him some receivers that create some separation. Accept that our offense is limited by a selfish QB that only does it his way and do everything in your power to surround him with talented skill guys. Either that or sit Rodgers down this off-season and call his play unacceptable, threaten to bench him if he's not going to play within a system and see how he reacts. That's the crossroads we're at.

There were 1st downs a plenty of he was willing to accept 6 yards.

I always felt that’s what made Rogers elite he never throws the game away. He’s got to trust some of his younger receivers, and yes, take a few more risks by throwing the ball over the middle. He hangs onto the ball way to long, leading to sacks and occasionally costly fumbles like he had today. Bottom line is, he stalls more drives than he advances because of his cerebral nature and approach to the game.
Mazrimiv
This has to be the strangest 10-3 team I've ever watched. They have taken the ugly won and made it a true art form

If Aaron wont get past his bad tendencies, and the new scheme isnt changing the way he plays, I dont see why it doesnt hurt to gamble on getting him better weapons and see if that helps. Do that or just accept our fate. What else can we do to remedy it at this point besides Rodgers getting his head out if his butt?

Opposing defenses are not dumbass to keep our players wide open all day.. You have to take a shot keeping faith in your recievers in tight window sometimes when you are on 3rd downs on your own side of the field..
