This morning's conversation went as follows:

Me: Hey babe, do we have any plans this Saturday?

Wife: *Smiling* No! We are completely free! Why?

Me: Great! I am planning on sitting on the couch and not moving from 12:00 noon to 11:00 at night watching college football.

Wife: *Smirking* You do realize that we have 3 kids, right?

Me: I'm not going to be ignoring them completely, but games will be on in the background.

Wife: *Smirks*

We will have separate threads for each Power Five championship game.  I will be getting those up over the next day or so.

1. Let's just skip a separate thread for the B1G title game. Or maybe we can just link wikipedia's to mass murders instead and lock it, that way instead of discussing Wisconsin, we can just read about Ted Bundy or something. Cool?

2. No Baylor. Ever.

If the Poinsettia Bowl hadn't closed down or was purchased by a party who would have relocated it both Army and Oregon State would be in line for bowl berth #80.

If Army beat Navy next Saturday they would claim the spot as a 6-7 team. If they lost, Oregon State would have it as the highest ranked 5-7 team by APR.

Next year there will be 84 slots needed for the bowls. And we have never achieved 84 bowl-eligible teams in a season. So the chances increase next year of a shortage of bowl-eligible teams, as no teams are moving up to FBS in the coming years.
