$200/year or $40/month for PFF Elite, and that's where they moved all the interesting stuff.  My PFF sub lapsed after they went to that model.

I wouldn’t pay for PFF till they decide to use the all-22 footage for grading.  They use only the TV broadcast footage.

Of course would mean their grades would have to come out the 3 days after the games and not 3 hours.

Just a thought has this defence improved massively since Savage came back from an ankle injury in October and also not just getting back but getting healthy and more comfortable playing again. That coupled with Campell coming back from IR and also playing and with that less Will Redmond on the pitch as well.

If you're looking for encouraging development in the defense, that King interception was pretty much it. That's the same play that the 49ers scored the long TD to Kittle on.

Cover-3 look with a deep in route to pull down the safety, and throw it into the zone that he just left.

On that play, King has to read his own side of the field, that there isn't a threat there going deep that he needs to occupy and he has to hold that spot long enough that the receivers leave the short area or his underneath coverage arrives. He has to read the middle of the field to check that Amos is going to take the in breaking route and give up the deep middle zone, and then he has to check the opposite side of the field to check that the backside receiver is actually running the deep post route that he has to drop back and occupy. He does all of that and still ran himself into position to make this play and then went up and made the play. That was seriously elite CB play. Just need him to catch it cleaner so I don't have a heart attack lol

Good development. Probably wont be the last time teams run this play against us either.

Vikings ran it on us in the first game, only it was Alexander coming over.  The exact same play.  I wish I could take credit for finding that, but an analyst on ESPN showed it right after the game.

It's a nice play to run and King was ready for it.

They could do preliminary grading based on TV Copy, and then do Revised/Final grading based on All-22.

81.1: Green Bay’s opponent passer for the season, including 55.0 against Detroit. The Packers finished the year ranked sixth in that critical stat. They were No. 28 in 2018 (100.9), No. 31 in 2017 (102.0) and No. 27 in 2016 (97.2).

93: Quarterback pressures by Smith on the season, including six on Sunday, according to Pro Football Focus. That was the most in the league. Clay Matthews had a total of 100 pressures during his final three seasons combined.

The two best position groups on the D yesterday were OLB (2 sacks each for Z and Preston) and Safety (Wilson was very good but Savage and Amos kept deep threats Lockette and Metcalf from breaking big ones).

If Gute can strike gold like last offseason and add another DLineman or two to complement Kenny Clark and fix the void at ILB, the D could be better, even much better, in 2020.

Old post, but this is what they do, AFAIK

Each week, grades are subject to change while we run through our extensive review process including All-22 tape runs and coaching audit, so you may notice discrepancies among grades published in earlier articles compared with those in the Player Grades tool until grade lock each week.
