onejayhawk
I am starting the GDT early because the playoff picture is coming into focus, sort of. For starters, the win over the Patriots and the Raiders lost to the Titans made us AFC WEST CHAMPIONS For other playoff activity, here is the ESPN machine. http://www.espn.com/nfl/playoffs/machine We currently sit third. Next weekend, Houston at Tennessee is for their division lead and likely the crown. the lose should fall two games behind us. Buffalo at Pittsburgh also has significant implications. For us to get homefield, The Patriots need to lose to Buffalo at home or blow one to Cincinnati or Miami. J

HolmesPriest
Well, the Patriots should have a pretty good game plan for the Bengals As for the Broncos, we could ezpz this one
Habbsawce
Broncos put a beating on Houston. This is definitely not a walk in the park, especially if Mahomes' hand is still hurting.
valkrei
As long as we dont beat ourselves we should be fine. Need to get back to basics and execution of plays.
onejayhawk
The first injury concern is PM II again. He had a fall on his throwing hand. It's badly bruised, but test report no broken bones. Expect to see Mahomes on the injury list and likely have limited practices, but ready to play on Sunday.https://chiefswire.usatoday.com/2019/12/09/kansas-city-chiefs-qb-patrick-mahomes-bruised-hand-no-broken-bones/ J

BullsandBroncos
The game where Lock gets exposed.
onejayhawk
The injury situation against Denver is not good, particularly on defense, but at least Denver is facing similar issues. The good news is that Mahomes was back to full practice after a scary hand injury proved to be just bruising. J

More important they heal up for the play offs.
mayanfootball
I was impressed with how large Spencer Ware looked. Glad he's back. If he's in shape, I like the Ware, McCoy tag team.
onejayhawk
The final injury report is in. Rashad Fenton and Morris Claiborne are out. Damien Williams is questionable to play after coming down with an illness. He was DNP Friday. Frank Clark is listed as questionable and is trending toward playing. The Broncos are hurting, with four out and three questionable, including the right side of the OL. In week seven, our pass rush ate the healthy OL alive. Lock could be in for a long day.https://chiefswire.usatoday.com/2019/12/13/final-injury-report-for-kansas-city-chiefs-vs-denver-broncos-week-15/ Weather for the game is worse than we had in Foxborough last Sunday. Temps will be below freezing and snow is likely. Edited December 14, 2019 by onejayhawk

Tighter on ball security than McCoy, more of a receiving threat than Darrell Williams, more of a veteran presence than Darwin Thompson. onejayhawk
I worry that Ware's skillset overlaps Thompson too much. Even though he isn't the load Ware is, DTrain is still an up-the-middle guy and he's an asset in the passing game.

Hope he'll be back soon ...
