Maybe that is an exaggeration by you, or maybe that is the misinformed perception people have had, but Fromm has never been a joke since he took over for Eason his freshman year. Fromm is reportedly well liked in the NFL and discrepancies in evaluations on a team to team basis will be more varied than usual as I shared here already.

Not me but it was everywhere you looked. I always like him.

I do remember Fromm being a lot of people's no.1 overall pick this time last year. I didn't watch ANY Georgia from then, but not sure how he drops that far in peoples' minds in one season. It's probably somewhere in the middle. He wasn't a number 1 overall, and he's not booty now.

So, IF we trade and take him with a medium to late 2nd, I guess I'd be happy with that.

I don't think we get him though. I'm done second guessing bill. Expect something like a defensive tackle you all have a 3rd round grade on

Here are some of the  links i found this morning questioning Fromm. They were even worst earlier in this process before Fromm "coming out party" this week by the Draft writers.  This is not my opinion.  I like Fromm however he's been trashed until this week.  My only hesitation with Fromm now was I liked Ryan Finley last year and wonder if Fromm play will be the same.

Player Comparison: Matt Barkley. In the NFL, I think Fromm could end up being a quarterback similar to Barkley. I mentioned that comparison to a general manager, and they said it was a good match. Barkley (6-2, 234) and Fromm are almost identical in size and have similar limitations in arm strength and athleticism.

Right, so Fromm is the standard solid (even boring) QB with clean mechanics, who can go through progressions if everything is sweet around him, deliver an accurate ball just about on time and if it's not an advanced throw. Solid, solid, solid.

If things break down around him, which they will, if he needs to throw off platform, if he needs to produce a miracle ball downfield - he can't. He's a 6 out of 10 now, and he'll be a 7 out of 10 in his NFL peak. Probably won't go below 6 or 7 out of 10 though. Classic high floor low ceiling.

I'd definitely be OK with that IF we had everything else in place and just needed a manager.
