mayanfootball
Come January, the improved Chiefs defense could be the difference in finally getting Reid's team over the postseason hump and into a Super Bowl. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000001086154/article/chris-jones-chiefs-defense-can-stand-up-to-any-team?itm_source=parsely-api?icampaign=trendingNews With some exceptions (rein in the PI's guys), I like what Chris Jones has to say in the above article. Chiefs_5627
AZ just gave Suggs the boot, think he could fit somewhere here?
onejayhawk
I would not say the defense has arrived, but it is at least league average. Though still weak against the run, we have had our moments, particularly against Minnesota and then league leading rusher Dalvin Cook. CJones and FClark have been "healthy". I'll take this D effort(warts and all) compared to the last 2 years.
onejayhawk
We have also played a run of better than average offenses. SoS against the D is #1 in the NFL according to FBO.https://www.footballoutsiders.com/stats/teamdef/2019 J

onejayhawk
Here's an interesting article on Kendall Fuller. He has not lived up to the expectations Chiefs fans had for him, but the article indicates we may have found a way to better utilize what he brings--as a S or S/CB hybrid. For myself, I have no trouble seeing him as the FS, Mathieu and Thornhill in front of him. If nothing else, Fullar has always been solid in run support.https://www.arrowheadpride.com/2019/12/25/21036506/kendall-fuller-film-review-he-makes-a-great-safety J
