The Seahawks have ruled out defensive end Jadeveon Clowney for Sunday’s game against the Panthers. The team listed him as questionable earlier in the day after Clowney had a limited practice. Clowney has the flu, which kept him away from the building part of the week, as well as the core muscle injury he has played through much of the season.

He played 41 of 70 snaps in Sunday’s loss to the Rams and made two tackles.

One of the Bears’ best defensive players will be back on the field on Sunday. Chicago defensive tackle Akiem Hicks is being activated and will play tomorrow against the Packers, Chris Mortensen of ESPN reports.

@Outpost31, what are your thoughts on the CHI/GB matchup?

you're typically a little more wordy than this... lol

what scares you? Rodgers with another 200 yard game, or the GB defense making it easy on Trubisky? or both?

Not really worried about the defense.  They’ll do what they always do.  Give up plays, tighten up in red zone, create turnovers.  I’m worried about Rodgers sucking and not moving the ball, giving Chicago constant short yardage situations and pinning us deep, defense getting tired, etc.

It would be nice if Dallas won, but we already know what's going to happen.

Dallas is playing for a division lets not downplay that.

The teams poorly coached but when hot like Dak and Amari got vs us they can pile up yards and points. I still think the Rams will win but discounting Dallas completely is foolish.

The Seahawks headed to Carolina knowing that they’d be without defensive end Jadeveon Clowney and linebacker Mychal Kendricks. Two other defensive pieces were ruled out on Sunday morning. Defensive end Ziggy Ansah and cornerback Shaquill Griffin are both on the inactive list against the Panthers, so Seattle will be much thinner than usual on the defensive side of the ball.
