Even in what was a "good game" from him, and even in the "highlight reel" thereof...he still doesn't seem able to really engage and sustain any kind of blocking. He was bouncing guys like he outside a club or something, and they didn't seem to know how to defeat that. Better pass rushers will get bounced once or twice like that, and come back to absolutely roast him. Like even when he gets to the second level on that one block, he's still just kinda shoving at a guy repeatedly until he falls over. Not really latching on and burying a guy, Nelson style. Like...he obviously has the tools and strength to be a good RT, so that's good...but he's still a massive work in progress. Picking up the little stunt was pretty good work though. Exactly why I said keep developing, he obviously still needs work but that was expected coming out. He just turned 22 a couple weeks ago. Did you see the list of names that were let go and the guys who have regressed (and the fact Dareus, who fixed our run D a couple years ago, has been out)? Calitro knows where to be at all times but he's clearly limited physically. Payne played ok but is too undersized to be a MLB.
