  1. 1. Will Freddie Be Fired at the End of the Season (NOT What You Hope Will Happen)?

    • No, he will not be fired.
    • Yes, he will be fired.
  2. 2. Will Steve Wilks Be Fired at the End of the Season?

    • No, he will not be fired.
    • Yes, BUT Freddie will be retained so Wilks will be the season's scapegoat.
    • Yes, BUT it won't just be him as he''ll be fired along with the rest of the coaching staff.
    • No, he won't be fired instead he'll take over as Head Coach after Freddie is fired so Dorsey can keep a lot of his staff intact.
  3. 3. What do you HOPE will happen... Do you think we SHOULD Fire Freddie?

What changes will be made this off-season if any on the coaching staff (NOT what you hope will happen)?

What changes are made in the off-season if any in terms of player personnel (NOT what you hope will happen)?

--------------

I actually think the following will happen.

Coaching Change Decisions Predictions

1.) Freddie Kitchens will be retained.

2.) Steve Wilks will be made scape-goat of the season and will be fried. Defense has been bad. Fans will forget a lot of the good work the defense battle through this year holding up their side of the bargain even with injuries or players being unavailable.

3.) Freddie's guy Chris Jones who is the Brown Senior defensive specialist and former head coach and general manager of the Saskatchewan Roughriders will take over as Defensive Coordinator.

4.) Either Todd Monken will leave with Ryan Lindley promoted to OC or Todd Monken will take over play-calling.

Personnel Change Decisions Predictions

1.) Joe Schobert will be allowed to walk - I said it last week and a lot of noise is pointing to it this week

2.) OBJ will not be traded to another team.

3.)  David Njoku will be traded for nothing of real value.

4.) Damarious Randall will be allowed to walk in free agency.

5.) Olivier Vernon will be on the team and not be cut.

The only prediction I've got. Posted it in the other thread as well:

You guys are gonna be mad pissed when we keep Freddie for another season. Haslems are trying to show a "culture-change" via patience. That's why Hue lasted so long. Freddie will get at least the first six games of next season, Dorsey will be shown the door at the end of the year and then rinse and repeat with a new cast of characters who give us an ephemeral "good feeling." This is what we've signed up for.

Patience with ineptitude has little/nothing to do with a culture change. Hue lasted so long because of his power over Dee.

Freddies pros

Decent pressers

Alabama folk wisdom

some good play design

some good dives with flow

likable guy

freddies cons

He caves to the big personalities around him, Dorsey, landry, OBJ

Team lacks discipline on and off the field

too many drives without flow

too many plays with bad design, TE blocks an All Pro edge defender on a 7 step drop on the QBs blindside.

Ill conceived game plans, bengals cant stop the run, pass, Cardinals cant stop the pass, pass and it doesnt work with OBJ and Landry.

Neglect Nick chubb early in game plans despite being the best player on the team.

The one thing I’m confused about is what people want as far as our coach’s treatment of the big personalities. When we drafted Baker, people said to embrace the personality, just let him be Baker. We acquire O’Dell, fans said the same.

Well Freddie has let the divas act like children, and now the narrative is that our coach is letting the big personalities off the chain. So, what is it we are wanting our coach to do? Should he let O’Dell and company act like divas, Baker to be brash and pick senseless media wars?

Not arguing for Freddie here, just seems people want the ‘other’ option no matter what, if one is going up in flames.

From where I stand Baker hasn’t done enough to have a voice at the table yet. Same with OBJ (in Cleveland). Keep these dudes in check and if they can’t get on board with individual accountability then this may not be the place.

I regret trading forOBJ, he doesnt help a young QB or a young coach, too much force of personality with him and their isnt enough to balance it out.

You’re not wrong, but you don’t bring those dudes in and then expect them to change who they are.

I think it’s one thing to have a couple personalities, it’s another to not know when you’ve got too many.

In our case, I think OBJ was too big of a personality/star for Baker in year 2 to be able to check.  He’s trying to appease him as opposed to just playing QB.
