onejayhawk
A cold day in New England, snow in KC and now Chicago. Fortunately, the seven day forecast is for mostly sunny and temps in the 30s. We did our part by beating the Broncos. Next week Buffalo goes to New England with a chance to give us a leg up on a bye week. If that does not happen, we are looking at the #3 seed and first round home game against the Steelers or Titans. Of course, we need to win in Soldier Field first. Chiefer
Reid’s got a great record against his protégés Offense can hopefully keep building on last weeks performance. I think the defense handles Trubisky.

onejayhawk
FootballOustiders weekly rankings are out and the Chiefs slipped a spot. That said, they remain in a tight cluster with SF and NO, with the Saints slipping past them this week. The offense remains #3, the defense climbs to #11 though the SoS slipped to #5, and the ST continue to improve, moving up to #6. The defense's strength of schedule slipped because Denver is a bottom 10 offense, just missing the bottom five. So are the Bears, ranking #25 even with a very soft schedule. Defensively, Chicago is much better, #7. Like the Chiefs, they have played some very good offenses. The ST and overall rank are better than average but not elite, #9 and #14 respectively. As noted in OP, the expected weather could be much worse. J
Habbsawce
I feel better about their chance to go to the SB than I have all year. The defense is finding their groove and playing like a total unit and the offense is finally getting somewhat healthy. Other than Lamar, what scares people? Yeah, if they need to control the clock in a tight game the lack of a running game is worrisome. However, Mahomes just showed again that weather means nothing to him in terms of putting up offense. Man oh man, would Kareem Hunt come in handy right about now.

Kareem missing the leadership he has in KC right now. Doesn’t sound to happy with the Browns

Also would preclude a need to burn a draft choice next Spring.
