flyers0909
Our defenseman really weren't impressive but man this top 6 is nice. If we can get Patrick back and Farabee up we're loaded.
flyers0909
Was skeptical of breaking up G and Coots but holy **** this line is good. They were up against Hall-Nico-Gusev most of the night too I think. Saw he was week to week earlier in the week.

Saw he was week to week earlier in the week. Its tough. Coots is clearly the best play driver and everyone on the G-Coots-TK line was ~85% CF. JvR-Hayes-Voracek wasn't bad either by the numbers (74/57/80). Twarynski-Pitlick-Bunnamen got smoked. (37/53/30) This is also one of those cases where advanced metrics don't tell the full story because the Flyers outplayed the Oilers but still got blown out. A couple of bad plays and a couple of PP goals and this thing was out of hand early.

He's been skating with the team but unfortunately we have the worst beat writers in the world so we probably won't know anything until the team comes out and announces it. Flyers beat writers are ungodly bad. 6-3 loss to Oilers following loss to Calgary. The next 2 at home (Stars and Knights) gotta have a turnaround. flyers0909
Farabee is up, he should have been from the start but happy the bottom 6 will finally have some help, they've been bad. Vorobyev should help as well as now Raffl doesn't have to play center. The team as a whole has been playing great shot metric wise, we're best in the league in CF%, xGF%, SCF% and HDCF% but our shooting percentage is 5%! Our luck will change soon, hopefully we stop playing Chris ******* Stewart.

Love that Fletcher isn't waiting too long to make moves in the bottom of the lineup.
Hockey5djh
With Farabee up I expect to see Stewart hit the press box more often than not.

Actually, we're playing Vegas tonight. Stewart will be in the lineup to handle Reeves.
flyers0909
Hmmm, G back to center, not sure I like it. He is much better from the wing, I have a feeling that line is going to get shelled tonight defensively. We really need Patrick back. Where do you go for your advanced stats? Side note: The only one with a CF% below 50 last night was Robert Hagg.
