SI: Coughlin prematurely cut off negotiations with Ngakoue, upsetting him in July

Recommended Posts

"Just before training camp last summer, Coughlin declared that the Jags had made their final and best offer to pass-rusher Yannick Ngakoue. The problem? It was late July, and negotiations were still in the early stages, having only started earlier that month. And the comments sufficiently angered Ngakoue, who was planning on reporting to training camp, to the point where he launched a training camp holdout instead. And this was a player that the team wanted to sign."

There's more interesting blurbs in here too about Ramsey as well.

Coughlin single handedly almost destroyed this team of any talent at all.

So does this mean we can stop all this nonsense of Arob vs Moncrief? Like A-Rob was never going to sign no matter what.

Really hope this drama is over with because we need help and cant have players afraid to come here fearing a toxic environment especially if we let leaders like Campbell go
