Is there a schedule of when free agency begins and when the draft is?  I'd hope we don't start free agency until after the real life Super Bowl and not do the draft until the combine has wrapped up. I think that's what we did last year.

Right like every year I jump the gun with sign ups and then we are waiting around 2 months for it to start.

I panic because I rarely see you guys during the season so I start posting this stuff way early and with the addition of the keeper making her maiden voyage to the forum I panicked even more than normal.

but to answer your question, no I haven't got the schedule ironed out yet.  Combine is over when?

Because these mocks start off after the season is over, I was thinking for extensions about opening the door for these to happen prior to the free agency start.  We would obviously need to limit how many during this time otherwise the fa pool would be completely depleted.

Let me know what you guys think...It'll stay as is unless we can all work out the details.

Looks like March 2.

  • Feb. 24-Mar. 2: Scouting Combine.
  • Feb. 25: First day for clubs to designate Franchise or Transition Players.
  • Mar. 10: Deadline for clubs to designate Franchise or Transition Players.
  • Mar. 18: Free agency begins.

Good...So we're still good I think.  If I remember right it usually takes a couple weeks to really get into the draft part of the mock and with the way the schedule works for the free agency we can start the draft more in the later fa rounds where in the past we started it somewhere between rounds 4 and 6 if I recall correctly.

Alright guys so pay attention to this, it's important information pertaining to extensions.

irl Clubs are extending several players right now but I've already pulled the contracts for the last time, so at the start of this mock included in Phase 1, you'll have the option to extend only the contracts that have been extended irl at the cost of their irl contract number.

For example, Eddie JacksonRichie Incognito.

Here are the restructure allotments for each team....if you guys feel that should be higher let me know.  These are based on the starting available cap for each team.   The more cap you are starting with the less restructure amount you'll have.  The primary reason for allowing these restructures is so that everyone can enjoy the mock by having a little cash made available to them.  I feel that no more than the 11.6 million is needed but again let me know what you guys think.

Team Restructure Funds
Vikings $11,640,000
Jaguars $11,268,000
Steelers $10,908,000
Falcons $10,548,000
