No doubt GB has plenty to play for next Sunday - and wisely, MLF said as much last night in the locker room. What does concern me somewhat is the lack of time to prepare for this huge game. Today is pretty much a wash, and they’re off tomorrow. They won’t get to work again until Thursday, which isn’t much time to prepare. I’m a worrier by nature, sadly, so I’m probably more sensitized to the ‘threats’. It’s also why I get paid well at my office - someone has to always be on the lookout for internal and external threats to the mission. Honestly, this is where the coaching staff needs to step up big and lead. I was encouraged by MLF’s strong caution to his players last night in his victory speech.
