Heinz D.
Okay? This will be interesting, for sure. The horrible showing last Sunday--will it continue? Nagy should be fired, if that is the case...
Sugashane
Regardless of the outcome of this game I can sum up the whole season.
topwop1
Vikings will likely be resting a lot of their starters as this game doesn't mean anything to them so let's see how this Bears team does against the backups.
WindyCity
A win does nothing for us. Deep down in the dark place of my soul I hope we get blown out and embarrassed. Spark some real change and accountability. I don’t need a big offensive win against a backup defense and Pace to sell that as growth or development. I sure hope not. Not deserved after Mondays beatdown. Edited December 26, 2019 by vikingsrule
G08
I don't think the Vikings play starters the whole game, Bears win 23-17 and we get to watch Pace and Nagy puff out their chests about not having a losing season. Yippie.

G08
As I reflect on this season and how much I hated it, I do find some comfort in us being 8-8 if we wind up winning this meaningless game. For as terribly as we played, and as awful/unprepared our offense looked at times, 5 of our 7 losses were by one score. Two of them we *should* have won in OAK and LA but many teams can say that about their respective seasons. Go out on a high note, make changes to the offensive staff where needed and come in with a renewed sense of "nothing is promised to you in the NFL". More and more, I want Ragone and Helfrich gone. Why? Get a fresh set of eyes on Trubisky, focus on cleaning up his mechanics in the off-season and working on his red zone issues. Find a coordinator who has experience (and success) calling plays in the NFL and get them in the building. Nagy is raw, that much was proven to me this season, and he will need all the help he can get. Hell of a leader/CEO -- kudos to him for that -- but he's not an offensive play-calling savant by any stretch of the imagination.
BEAR FACE DOWN ARROW
I've been on board with cutting Hiestand as the performance on the field has been surprisingly bad regardless of the personnel, but ragone is also standing out in a bad way. They retained him from Foxball because of chemistry with Mitch, but can't imagine anyone else could have helped less. Definitely those 2 gone.

I love with DeFilippo did with Wentz and Foles in Philly... I see no way he wouldn't be an upgrade to Ragone.

DeFilippo has a problem with running the ball so it would be really convenient to have him here for the Trubisky truthers- when he sucks again, they can blame it again on the lack of a run threat. I'd rather make a run at Joe Brady and see if he has any interest leaving LSU. Edited December 28, 2019 by beardown3231

Nagy isn't giving up playcalling duties so even as an OC he is just a highly paid QB coach. Edit - Maybe another person can be OC who is an OL specialist and they make some b.s. title for Flip like passing coordinator so he can get OC pay to work directly with the QB. Id be down.
