You're also not acknowledging that he's not gonna play on his rookie deal. So what's the point? Fact, Pins in a throwing shoulder is a ticking time bomb. There is over a 60% probability that Rodgers will not be able to play out his contract due to injury. If he does play out his contract the arthritis will limit him and he will become today's version of Trent Dilfer during his time with Tampa Bay. This is the exact opposite of a fact.

Fox_NFLs_GG
So anyone watching the Lions kill Martinez?
mikemike778
This would make me cry ... Rodgers is becoming more injury prone and agree he may not last his contract. As things stand though he is our guy for the next few seasons so you build your roster based on that. We desperately need help with the receiving group. If you go QB, ILB then honestly might as well just tank 2020 in which case the following year would be a better time to get a QB as you have a top pick. MantyWrestler
This draft is a joke. I don’t even know why I’m replying. we won’t reach for that guy in the first. Only QB we possibly could take is Tua if he falls.

moretti19
I honestly wouldn’t mind a tank year after Rogers to get an elite qb. Then sign a guy like Fitzpatrick and let him sit behind him for a year.
hitnhope
No, No, No. Reactionary drafts like this are how teams become terrible. Picking bad players far too early to fit a position is bad management. Picking a mid round QB that would never see the field on his rookie contract to it behind your teams largest investment makes zero sense. Just no. Cheech
I think given the need and quality/depth of top tier wide receivers, you really should capitalize in the first or second round on another playmaker for the next 6 to 8 years. Find a guy who can make plays after the catch.
JBURGE
This is one of those things that really doesn't need it's own thread considering the work that went into it. Sorry
