Well we did give Hue Jackson 40 games and he managed to win 3 of them.

Hue was terrible, and was never a good hire either, but its hard to keep jumping to different GMs and coaches, and expect immediate results, regardless of talent.  Every coach and/or GM has a different vision and culture they want to instill the the new team...some players dont fit or dont accept certain cultures.

Certainly not making excuses for Hue or Freddie, but neither shouldve been hired in the first place.

Even as a rival fan, I legitimately feel bad for the crap Browns fans have to put up with.  You have a passionate, loyal base and its one dumpster fire after another.  I believe they should hire a guy like Mike McCarthy, get a good defesive coordinator and give it 5 years.  There is plenty of young talent to work witg, and even if McCarthy isnt some amazing coach, I think he has the abilty to get the Browns to consistent playoff level IF he has the right personnel around him.

Still think they should've kept Dorsey, but we will see who they land on at GM.

New regimes mean new quarterbacks. Time to spin the carousel once again.

That would be dumb as hell, although not completely out of the question.

Baker has takent.  They need to bring un someone who can work with him and put him in better situations.

Hell, with Chubb and Hunt, they should be running it 30-40 times a game and asking Mayfield to manage and make plays when needed.

We're talking about the Cleveland Browns.

The only reason there was any hype for the Browns this season was Dorsey.  Absolutely nobody else in that building can take credit for that massive turnaround.  It's not like the guy was adding pieces to an already solid team on the cusp.  Before him Cleveland was another franchise where high 1st round picks go bust.

Kitchens wasn't the right guy and it's arguable that Dorsey went on too big of a shopping spree too fast but that's partly because he drafted so effectively.

Really I just don't want to see that guy in the AFC West.  It's been nice seeing the Chiefs coast through that division and there are definitely some teams that could use him.
