You know there's always gotta be an edgelord post when someone dies. Some guys who die don't deserve automatic respect, but it's David freakin Stern. Save the bullets on someone who actually sucked.
tom cody
RIP to him. One of the better league figureheads I can remember in my 30 plus years of watching sports.
resilient part 2
Anytime I hear the name David Stern my 1st thought is of course NBA commissioner , but right after that I remember passing on my little boat on the intercoastal near FT Lauderdale. That part is filled with extraordinary million dollar homes and yachts to match. While they are many glorious houses there, Stern's yacht was second to none. My guess it was over 200 ' and had the most aerodynamic sleek new build. I was always so envious. I both hated and loved to go by his house. What a life he had. Sad that a man who has gained so much in his life couldn't enjoy the fruits of his labor longer.
the lone star
RIP to a True Legend. I love that he embraced the boos on draft night, but honestly, he didn't deserve them, and I always felt that way.
