ny92mike
Once tcmd slows down, you gotta get me involved with a new expansion team. Cool concept.
jrry32
Our first matter of business is to hire a coaching staff. I wanted to see how the NFL moves would shake out first because I know an expansion team wouldn't be at the top of a HC's list. With that in mind, here are the candidates I am considering: Jason Garrett former HC Cowboys Jim Caldwell AHC Dolphins Eric Bieniemy OC Chiefs Matt Eberflus DC Colts Right now, I'm leaning towards Garrett. I think having a steady hand would be a good idea early in my team's run. I'll make my decision tomorrow.
jrry32
After a lot of thought, the St. Louis Stallions' first head coach will be . . . Jason "The Clapper" Garrett. I strongly considered going with a higher upside choice, but I felt it was important to have stability in the early going. Garrett is a former NFL QB who was Dallas' head coach for 9.5 years. In that time, he only had one losing season. Yes, he's not the most exciting option, but he's capable of putting together a strong coaching staff and won't be in over his head managing the team. The big names on Garrett's staff will be: OC: Kellen Moore DC: Kris Richard AHC/OL: Bill Callahan AHC/Def: Rod Marinelli I believe these coaches will help our team become a contender in no time! My next step is to determine who will be in the expansion draft and then hold an expansion draft before FA starts.
jrry32
I am currently entertaining trade offers for the #1 pick. I am not unopposed to trading down if a team like Miami comes with a strong package.

A few names may have to be pulled and replaced, but it is an impressive piece of work. The only name that stands out to me as a key cog for the team is LDT of KC. I have a thread in NFL Gen where people are making recommendations on who to pull and add. But I added LDT after reading the Chiefs' forum. They were talking about cutting him in there. Danger
Eagles would definitely like to keep Anthony Rush. Put Alshon in his place.

jrry32
I will follow the same rules that the Texans did. That means that I either have to claim 30 players or 38% of the 2020 salary cap worth of contracts (roughly $76 million in contracts).
