Haha McDermott & OC Daboll earned the L just a much there for their 2Q / 2H game calling (although yeah Allen was awful in 2H). They ran dive / dive / pass in RZ the 2 non-2 minute FG drives in the 1H and worse had Gore run instead of Singletary on several of those. And they had Gore run up the middle with 30 secs left in the 1H and only 1TO left. There’s a time to play for the FG - like down 3 late in 4Q. But playing to not lose in the 1H and 3Q when you can put away the opponent bit BUF hard. You don’t keep settling for FG instead of going for TD’s in the RZ and be predictable like they did after that fantastic 1st drive. Should never have been just 16-0. SMH there.
