If we’re thinking Zac Taylor, who barely survived his first season with Andy Dalton and Finley, has spent a second on anything not involving taking Burrow at 1 I have a bridge to sell you. He can’t afford to fool around with this. Burrow buys him a minimum 2 more seasons at his job.

Or, a team can wait till pick #3 when the Lions pick cause they have Stafford.

Or a team can wait till the #4 pick pick cause the Giants have Daniel Jones.

That’s not how it works when a legit franchise QB prospect is on the board. Teams won’t want to risk waiting to trade up and have another team jump them at #2.  If Burrow falls to us, we will get a ton of juicy offers.

You would be dealing with Miami (at 5), LA Chargers (at 6) and potentially Carolina (at 7). Dark horse of Jacksonville at 9.

There's also the Mike Brown factor: Burrow is going to be relatively inexpensive for four years, and is going to likely cause a spike in jersey sales. Cheap owner likes making money, doesn't like spending money.
