I've got a strange feeling that Tennessee is going to (miraculously) see a bunch of flags for holding next week.  Just a hunch.

Absolutely. NFL doesn't even try to hide how it favors media darlings like Brady, Mahomes etc.

Yeah, but Im not counting out Tennessee.  They actually have to tools to win vs KC.  Not saying they will, but they match up better than most.

Yeah, hoping for some special next week. Just can't believe they were down 24 in the beginning of the 2nd Qrt then led by the end. Now up 20. 51 points on the board in 3 Qrts is simply ridiculous

Mahomes was far from a media darling this season. Many people forgot about HIM.

Even European footie isn't what it used to be in terms of being held to responsibility - the ultra-rich owners saw to that there too.  Gone are the days, at the top levels at least, where if the fans (as trustees of the team) weren't satisfied with the performance of the manager they could vote for them to be removed and the club would actually have to consider it.

managers who underperform a little get fired, owners realize that theyre actually sinking money in, while in the NFL, the salary cap, the trade system and the fact every team gets like 300 mil from the NFL a year (which covers the salary for the year usually) means the players aren't actually losing money. If you're the owner of a team and spend 60+ mil in the transfer market and underperform, youre gonna get mad, if youre the owner of a NFL team and you underperform, no biggie, I still got money.

Also doesn't help that the likely-still-to-be (unless Russ goes absolutely HAM tonight and then again against the Niners) MVP went one-and-done in the playoffs, so they've got to control the narrative and redirect the hype.
