dtait93
They already changed the rules. Don’t let them in the end zone.

Everyone loves penalty shootouts in soccer, the same way everyone loves OT in CFB, no one loves OT in the NFL cause the most tense moment is the coin toss! Nobody with skin in the game likes penalty shootouts.
Hukos
I think college OT is stupid and gimmicky. No thanks.

Jetzger
Make them play the entire 15 minute period. The threat of another grueling 15 minutes would hopefully be enough to help some of these coaches find their balls and actually play to win in regulation. Mahomes was on fire in the 2nd half against NE then didn't even touch the ball in OT and we lose. Chiefs proposed a rule change last offseason but the NFL rejected it.Defense wins championships. In this debate, more specifically, it loses championships

Chargers
I have a feeling if the Vikings lost the same way that this thread wouldn't be here. Every time one of the Elite QBs loses in overtime these threads pop up.

childofpudding
I agree that each team should get a possession no matter what, and the team I cheer for has benefited twice from how it exists now Edited January 5, 2020 by childofpudding
