Honestly I think it's best for the Eagles to part ways, and for a team looking to build for the future like Washington, given his circumstances, I'd not want to sign him. He’ll probably not get the contract he's looking for unless he's willing to just paid and play on a bad team. If he's smart - and he is - he’d re-sign with the Eagles on a reasonable but not blockbuster deal or to another 9 plus win team that could use an upgrade at safety.
