Malcolm Jenkins said he won’t be back in Phila on the same deal, should we sign him?

As an Eagles fan, I'm not willing to give him any significant money beyond 2021 and we are relatively strapped for cash in 2021. Honestly I think it's best for the Eagles to part ways, and for a team looking to build for the future like Washington, given his circumstances, I'd not want to sign him.

He’ll probably not get the contract he's looking for unless he's willing to just paid and play on a bad team. If he's smart - and he is - he’d re-sign with the Eagles on a reasonable but not blockbuster deal or to another 9 plus win team that could use an upgrade at safety.

If he does chasing the one last big contract though, he's likely to go to a team that won less than 7 games last year.

Agreed.

Hard pass on him

Agreed depending on cost, but don’t you agree that status quo at FS is unacceptable?

We have to at least sign someone like Tre Boston but preferably someone like Anthony Harris - a real upgrade.

Yes, we need to address it. But no on Malcolm.
