Yep. This is going far better than I anticipated. TBH this is one of the reasons I wanted McDaniels or Jim H. I thought they would be able to put together a much better staff than a NCAA coach. McCarthy was kind of a boring hire to me. But 25 years in the NFL across multiple teams means he has a ish ton of connections. Hell, I had *no clue* McCarthy was Aaron Brooks's QB coach that one year he was a probowler for NOLA.

Same goes for Steve Bono with the Chiefs in '95.

Reports are he didn't just hate Jason - he hated Jerry as well for picking Jason over him. The soft spot people have for Callahan is hilarious to me. Dude is a bad egg.

The rest of the assistants were pretty meh
WizardHawk
Outside of Moore and Colombo, doesn't appear there will be many holdovers. I wonder if Stump Mitchell is the RB coach who got the offer over Brown Edited January 8, 2020 by WizardHawk

No idea if there is any truth to it. 17 minutes ago, Nextyearfordaboyz said: Mike Fisher says that between Garrett, Moore, and Kitna, there is a feeling that there were "too many cooks in Dak's kitchen".
