Deandre Baker waived, lol. That might be the worst 1st round pick of the last ten years.

EDIT: Guys who I would consider contenders for Baker's title as Worst 1st Round Pick of the Decade

Danny Watkins (cheating a little because technically 2010 wasn't in this decade)
Jon Baldwin
AJ Jenkins
David Wilson
Matt Elam
Josh Garnett

Paxton Lynch

The fact Justin Gilbert doesn't appear on this list is a travesty and a sham as a top ten selection

At least both of those players lasted through their second season with the team that drafted them.

Not that they weren't terrible picks, but I don't think you can make a case that Gilbert was worse than Baker given they played the same position.

1.  There's a huge difference between pick 8 and pick 30.  To not even get two seasons of production of a top ten pick is really awful.  While baker may have been cut for legal reasons, the cost wasn't as high as Gilbert which makes Gilbert the larger bust

2. You know how bad you have to be for the Browns to let you go two years in

These aren't inconsequential points. However, Gilbert did get a second chance in the league (albeit a short one), we'll see what happens with Baker.

EDIT: The Cleveland front office changed after Gilbert was drafted, too. Not saying he would have stuck around had the original GM survived another year, but it's a point Baker doesn't have in his favor.

Probably not. We have been telling ppl that OKC needed someone to step up for them since the shark tank and noone gave a damn

Well, in fairness to everyone who has played with Whicker for years, he's prone to disappearing for personal issues and then showing up, so even in the past when I've suggested we look for options to replace him it fell on deaf ears, because this pattern isn't necessarily new.

How are we addressing the new IR rules? With so many guys that can be put on IR and for such short time. What happens if you fill your roster up with waiver guys for these guys but they return after 3 games? You now have to cut someone who isn’t locked?

That's something you are going to have to weigh before putting in a claim
