Saleh just worries me that he’s this years eberflus. Hot one year wonder who won’t have any attention a year from now once he has to adjust.

Agreed. Coaching that defense for a year shouldnt make someone special.

I’m higher on Saleh than most in here. Everything I’ve read tells me he has the capacity to be a good leader. My only concern with hiring defensive coaches is keeping continuity on offense. I’m also really high on Dobbs as GM and that sounds like Saleh’s choice so if that happened I’d be ok with it.

BTW congrats to you guys. I’m secretively rooting for you guys to win it all. I’ve always thought the league is better with the 49rs relevant.

Thank you sir!

I think Saleh goes with Adam Peters at GM if he's hired.

But if Saleh is hired, he is definitely bringing one of the MIke's with him. Shanny speaks highly of both guys and it's only a matter of time until they get their shot at OC.

Saleh was still solid last season with little to no pass rush. But him being a good candidate isn't just about his ability as a DC, but just how good of a leader and communicator he is.

Unless the Offensive guru were looking at is elite at calling plays like Shanahan is, we need a leader of men. We don't always have to do the smart guy

Smart guy? We've had Kitchens, Hueball and Pettine as our last 3 head coaches.

What about Hue? I feel like he’s learned a lot since his last stint.

Cleveland loves to re-hire bald black dudes as their head coach.

Hue Jackson was the only one.

Terry Robiskie was a bald interim head coach then he got canned. Romeo Crennel had hair.

The Browns most often love to hire trash head coaches of a different hue.
