Matt McGloin demonstrating why in-game interviews have the potential to be awesome:

A benched QB, trashing the gameplan of his HC in the middle of a 4Q blowout is just great. Just great.

For every Matt McGloin, though, there's a Landry Jones. His interviews were at the other end of the spectrum and priceless.

Really hope the league makes it to year two. Would be interesting to see the jump that guys who havent played with each other and, in a lot of cases, hadn't played real football in years can do when they have consistency.

Would really love if it evolved and allowed NFL teams to have practice squad players play in the XFL. No better way to actually try to develop talent than letting them play in real games.

PJ Walker is a bad man😎

MVPJ is right now in attack mode, but both wins have been in friendly territory. Next two weeks are on the road - including an in-state game vs Dallas - so we'll see if he keep his magic going while on the road.

I think Vince has said that funding was 100% secured for the first two years.

XFL attendance increased this week.

https://www.nfldraftdiamonds.com/2020/02/xfl-attendance-11/

Week 1 total: 69,818

Week 2 total: 76,285

That can be attributed to the Seattle crowd, the teams that had home games in week 1 and week 2 saw attendence drops in week 2.

Even more important though is going to be the week 2 TV numbers.

St. Louis' home opener should be another fun game. Last I heard, their stadium was almost completely sold out. :D

News on ratings for Week 2 is trickling in. Local ratings in D.C. and Houston were strong; can't wait to see how all the games did nationwide. They had to compete with the NBA All-Star Game and the Daytona 500. NFL.com is now reporting some XFL news.

Those are pretty bad numbers.

Those numbers are actually incredible for a league that is 2 weeks old.

As TV shows they beat the crap out of the NBA, NHL, and likely MLB.

Seattle drew massive ratings even with 29k in the stadium and not at their TVs.

Cleveland and KC are getting huge ratings without a team.

The XFL is doing great.

BTW - The NY Islanders draw about 12.6k per game. (79.8% of capacity)

The Timberwolves draw 14.7 k per game. (77.7%)

The Dragons drew more than both of them combined. xD
