Elky
Both teams came out of nowhere and knocked off some really good teams (07 NE, 11 GB, etc.) Edited January 12, 2020 by Elky
Xmad
I'd say they're closer to the 2012/13 ravens in which they just got hot, squeaked into the playoffs and went on a run. Now excuse me while I go cry and say "it's ok Lamar is still the MVP"

valkrei
you mean like a receiver catching the ball on his helmet good? Not going to happen. Also team is one dimensional, stop the run and game over..
3rivers
Giants - got pressure with 4, made miracle type plays Titans - turning the clock back 3 years and running for a title, but the QB can throw as well.
BayRaider
How did Tenn come out of no where? I’ve been saying they are the real #2 seed since before the playoffs but started the worst QB in the league the first half of the season. And 50% of the public was on the Titans in the WC game. Hardly out of no where.

Before the playoffs started, Tannehill was putting up some incredible numbers. They’ve relied on Henry this postseason and for good reason, he’s the best RB in football right now. Tannehill is working the playaction phenomenally.

Danger
07 Giants are one of the definitive David vs Goliath's in sports history.
Calvert28
07 Giants will still easily have the bigger legend because of what they accomplished.

The fact they knocked off that undefeated Patriots (plus the Tyree catch) adds to the legend of that team. I doubt it'll ever be matched as a underdog story in the NFL. If the Titans were to win the Super Bowl though, they'd have beat the Patriots (potentially ending their dynasty), the league MVP with a historic rushing offense, the reigning MVP (who's viewed as the now and future of the league) with his high powered offense and either the #1 team in the NFC or Aaron Rodgers. As impressive a run as you can have.
