GDT: Definitely America’s Team at Chiefs

Having Brown on D  will help a lot and free up the other LB’s to help contain Mahomes

It would also help if AJ can make some plays KC does not have the secondary that Balt did which leaves some Room for AJ and the rest of our receiving core.   We have to make plays in 3rd down and sustains drives.   Henry will get his yard but also will leave us down 3rd 4’s and That is where tannehill has to find the receivers to move the chains

To be honest the recipe is simple. Sustain drives eating up clock on offense get TD’s in red zone.  Make KC settle for FG’s and dont turn the ball over

So the collective feeling from most the talking heads is that everything that happened the first game was luck by the Titans.

We just got lucky because the Chiefs messed up. They missed throws. Dropped passes. Fumbled the ball and messed up on special teams and we still barely won.

So once again. We shouldn't even step on the field because we can't stop a nosebleed if we tried.

Tannehill can't pass. And all we can do is run thre ball.

Chief's defense has improved so much that we'd be lucky to be in the game.

It's incredible.  How much more do they think they can do?

Mahomes had season highs in yards, completions, attempts, and was above his season average in TDs, QB rating, etc.  Tyreek also had his best game of the season... almost doubling his next highest totals in targets and receptions... gaining 157 yards, one of only 2 games he went over 80.  Kelce had his typical 7/75/1 game... he literally averages 6/70/.3.  Robinson had his 2nd best game of the season, and both he and Hardman had their best game in the 2nd half.  Realistically, what more can they do on offense to drastically improve?

On defense, we'll have Jayon back, and will be taking Woodyard's 63 snaps.... same at CB, with Brock taking Sims' 77 snaps.

On the flip side, we had Raymond with a long catch, and outside that 1 pass play, we had 2 TEs with over 30 yards receiving and pretty much nothing else.  Henry was his typical Hulk self... but there's much more damage that we can do in the pass game, if needed.

I'm in no way, shape, or form saying we should be favored to win, or whatever... just don't see how people are saying we have no chance in this... again.  It's playoff football and we're not the Texans. We're going to hit them for sure... on offense and defense.  It's how they respond that will determine this game, IMO.

Casey was out that game I believe and Cris Jones maybe out or not 100% this time. Jones created havoc all day in that first game and Casey inside will make that interior pocket uncomfortable for Mahommes this time. Don’t turn the ball over and the Titans have a chance.

The Chargers held Mahommes to rather pedestrian stats twice this year. I wonder what they did? The Chiefs still scored 24 and 31 in those games, but Mahommes didn't put up near his usual numbers.

The chargers got pressure & they have a better secondary than ours, our secondary is really be d but don’t break, & none of our corners other than Adoree are boundary man cover corners, though I hope Brock is ready to step up big time. But for us to win this game we can’t sit on routes all day giving up cushion playing scared, & Adoree has to get his hands on TyReke hill at the LOS & dictate the route

They definitely have better edge rushers than us, but I wouldn't give them that much of an edge in the secondary. Davis is decent and has good speed which is a pretty big advantage over Brock. Everywhere else we have a comparable secondary with Jackson back.

We do a lot of bend but don't break, but that changes in the red zone. We are top 5 in the red zone in cover 1/man under and cover 0.

The Chiefs love to go down field, so I hope we allow a lot underneath and just try to get hands on them at the LOS. Would like to see more cover 3 and really try to stop those deep shots that they love.

It really is hysterical how clueless the major talking heads are about us. Burleson said Tannehill chose to come here when he could have taken more money elsewhere, Acho on ESPN said we beat Watson in week 17, Skip and Shannon calling Jonnu our 3rd TE, Stephen A (who’s a clueless bafoon about all things football anyways) said we won 7 of our last 8 games to close out the season lmao. It’s just never been as obvious as it is now that nobody watches us. These people are terrible at their jobs

idk, i think it’s reasonable to admit that we got several very fortunate breaks in that game lol. not the only reasons we won, to be sure, but they certainly helped.

And if you look at the Texans Playoffs game, those mistakes seems to be common with the Chiefs.  Mental blunders, fumbles, overthrows and drops.
If a team makes the most of those mistakes, is that really a bad thing?

Or if we force a bad snap, cause a fumble or block a kick? Is that not something we had a hand in causing? Especially seeing that we've blocked multiple kicks and forced fumbles.

Maybe that over throw is caused by pressure.
Maybe that drop is caused by the previous hit across the middle
