He'll be calling out offensive audibles being called before they even happen. Nah, he would see it happen then point out the 10 thousand different things wrong with it and what they could have done better.
kramxel
I prefered if he stuck with CBS. He and Nantz are great together, and honestly ESPN has gone down the path of ridiculousness considering sports coverage. They're a tabloid. MNF is a great example of all that's wrong with that network, and honestly that goes way beyond Booger (who is crap, don't get me wrong). I fear Romo would just be ESPNed out of himself.

BayRaider
Romo won’t fix MNF. Their whole presentation package is awful. At least we get Romo/Nantz one more time in the AFC Championship. Then the horrid Buck/Aikman Super Bowl I believe.

How do you make a Great Presentation when you have to lead with ,Booger? Not only will ratings increase on the Sheer Fact both Witten and Booger aren't involved, but Romo is actually good! Does bring something to the table. Will get the average Joe/Janet Blow to watch, because he is explaining it a way they actually can understand ,when most don't. Its beyond the right move to make, for both. Could potentially secure his job for the next 20 years ala the Cosells, Michael's and Giffords of years past! Like it or not, it is the most recognizable Analyst Job in Sports, especially if you're good at it! titanrick
I’d like them to put Booger back in the crane-thingy and ask him a complex question once a game, then after about 4 seconds, abruptly cut back to the booth and say they had technical difficulties but never go back to him. Do this once a week. I feel like it would never get old.
ILoveTheVikings
Romo is awesome. He is like the Tom Brady of sportscasting. I'm not joking either. Edited January 15, 2020 by ILoveTheVikings

ESPN is becoming irrelevant for NFL football. 2019 Ratings for MNF are 6.0 to about 8.5 Ratings on SNF are 8.6 to 12.9 Ratings on Sunday games go as high as 13.0 for CBS and 16.5 for FOX You can watch every other locally broadcast NFL game over the air or on the NFL App or with Red Zone you can watch the best of the Sunday afternoon action.. I have not paid for ESPN in years and I won't in the future. Of course lousy announcing on MNF could be a contributing factor on why their ratings are slipping. Getting better teams participating would be even better. Too bad they can't flex these games like they do with Sunday games.
